“Meanwhile White’s unignorably charming character made the intimidating acts of life drawing and social interaction with a (fake naked) stranger feel intimate.”
-Peters, Sarah: Viewfinder: REwork: Participatory Art Projects at Art Attack. Walker Art Center Blog, November 2012.
A series of interactive performances as character “Buoj iz Jeb.” Participants were invited to dress the naked-suited character with a costume and prop of their choice, to direct his pose and facial expression, and then to sketch their interpretation using paper and colored pencils. Over the duration of the performance, a collection of portraits drawn by participants were collected and displayed.
