I will present a new multimedia performance piece at the Independent Film Festival Ypsilanti (IFFY) in Fall 2020.

RECENT:

My work was presented in the visual art exhibition and performance art series “What Remains” curated by ieke Trinks at Defibrillator Gallery in Chicago, IL. The program took place from February 7-28, 2020.

I performed at the Emergency INDEX Volume 7 launch party at the Jam Handy Building in Detroit on September 19. A selection of local performers have been invited to re-perform/recreate *another artist’s* work from the book.

An excerpt of my short film Red Blob Massacre was screened at a pop up show in Crown Heights at Wild Birds Brooklyn, curated by Alison Pirie on September 19.

I presented my project The Ugly Placenta at SECAC 2019 in Chattanooga as part of the panel “Art & Parenting: Engagement with the Familial and Domestic” chaired by Barbara Kutis in October 2019.

An image from my Parent Skins project, Heavy Load, was published in the Maternal Journal #2 this Fall. The art book was be produced on a risograph and includes written and visual pieces inspired by the words of bell hooks from Feminism is for Everybody.
