Die Tomato, Die!!!

Die Tomato, Die!!! explores the dynamic between audience and performer through the symbolic destruction of a tomato, traditionally associated with failure and audience disapproval in theater. While the tomato has historically been a weapon for audiences to express dissatisfaction, in this performance, the performer takes control—destroying the tomato in an act of rebellion before the audience has a chance to stop her.
