The Ugly Placenta

In my dream there is a placenta on my plate. It’s the ugliest placenta that I’ve ever seen, with bulging veins and green undertones. Its stench wafts up toward my face like a ghost. I grab my fork and devour it like a maniac. Blood streams down my chin. It’s crunchy and brittle and oozy all at once. I swallow chunk after chunk while grunting ferociously. My internal organs wrestle and churn. I eat until my belly protrudes forward like a pregnant woman. I lick the plate like an animal.

Take that, you fucking ugly placenta. I ate you until you were gone. Until you became a part of me with all your wretchedness.
